If academics are the heart of a Bishop’s education, then student life is its soul.

We aim to shape students not just as scholars, but as human beings. We believe an education ultimately isn’t about what you get, it’s about what you are going to contribute. So, as a student, you will learn to see beyond our walls, model respect for others and discover the passion from which you will change the world.
Daily advisory sessions with a faculty member support every facet of your development as a responsible and caring student at Bishop’s. Through chapel time, service learning and Associated Student Body Council and clubs, you can make remarkable contributions on our campus and in the larger community. You have the space to grapple with big ideas and the time to seek answers and reflect on your endeavors. With highly motivated adults shepherding the process, you gain the confidence to address the issues you feel passionate about.
Our vision for you begins here at Bishop’s, where you develop a keen appreciation for differences in others, embrace spirituality in its many forms, and come to understand how you can make a lasting change through service and leadership.
With these lessons well-learned, our vision – and your ability to transform the world around you – extends, with heart and with soul, throughout your Bishop's career, and your life.
