All of the students in Spanish 2E and Spanish 3 created original horror stories as part of their horror story unit; eight students presented their spooky stories to the San Diego Rep on Monday, Oct. 29.
Eight students represented Bishop’s by presenting their stories at the Amigos del Rep’s Historias Tenebrosas event:
Lucy Liu and Ashley Holland, “El Perro Perdido”
Saavi Banerjee and Cami Farrell, “Es Demasiado Tarde”
Alex Cotton, “Gustav, el Fantasma”
Emma Myer, “La Risa del Diablo”
Abby Beamer, “La Selva Oscura"
Zach White, “Las Mareas Misteriosas”
The annual event was set up for family fun and included a variety of performances, screenings of family-friendly spooky films, and a craft area to make calaveras (sugar skulls) and bean collages. Attendees could also bring items to add to a community altar in remembrance of friends and loved ones.
