The foundation courses offer training in the fundamental concepts of drawing, painting and two-dimensional design. Guided lessons provide structure in developing artistic practice and the ability to draw. Within these classes students are asked to think about their relationship to art and to connect to their work both intellectually and personally.

The intermediate courses allow students both creative freedom as well as the support to develop their own expression in visual art. Students create their personal artistic goals and discover ways to achieve them. Collaboration, innovation and experimentation are key concepts in these courses.
“Art is as unique as each of us and mirrors who we are. Making art teaches us about ourselves and allows us to be free in our mind and heart. It strengthens our ability to express our point of view and feelings. It is for everyone and benefits us all.”
