"The Best American Poetry 2021" features the work of Bishop's English teacher Adam Davis.

Adam’s poem, "Interstate Highway System," first published in “The Believer,” was selected by former United States Poet Laureate, Tracy K. Smith, for inclusion in the recently released “The Best American Poetry 2021.” Adam is one of 74 poets, including Pulitzer Prize winner Jericho Brown, Henri Cole, Billy Collins, Louise Erdrich, Nobel laureate Louise Glück, Terrance Hayes, and Kevin Young, whose work was also selected for this prestigious collection. A copy is available in the library for the Bishop’s community to read.

Congratulations, Adam! Your students and colleagues are so excited for you!
