Sixth Grade Math

From middle school math teacher Catherine Beamer: "The sixth graders were doing the 2027 Challenge, where they have to use the four digits in their high school graduation year, each once and only once, common mathematical symbols and the order of operations to create expressions that are equivalent to target numbers. This was the Shelf format in Padlet, which allowed me to include 100 columns for the target numbers, which were the counting numbers 1-100. Students in all four sections of sixth grade math could contribute their work on the same platform, add additional expressions, and see what tools classmates were using that they had not considered on their own."
