Congratulations to Bishop’s Girls’ Volleyball, which received the 2018-2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award!
The award is given to high school and collegiate volleyball teams that maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale. For the 2018-2019 school year, 447 high school girls’ volleyball programs were recognized.
Bishop’s also made the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll. To attain this status, the Knights had one of the top 47 GPAs among the high school girls’ volleyball Team Academic Award recipients.
The Bishop’s School is an independent, coeducational college-preparatory day school for students in grades six through twelve who live throughout San Diego County. Founded in 1909, the School is affiliated with the Episcopal church.
