The California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) is known as a rigorous four-week, pre-professional visual and performing arts training program for high school students held each summer at the California Institute of the Arts in Sacramento, Calif.
Visual arts department chair Elizabeth Wepsic announced that congratulations are in order for Annie Fang ’22, “who presented a very strong portfolio of work with exceptional skill to be admitted into CSSSA 2019.”
Annie is eager for the experience, saying, “I’m feeling pretty excited to meet other people who share the same passion, and to have so much time to learn from professionals.” She’ll be working in the program July 13 – Aug. 9. One of the pieces from her portfolio is shown at right.
The Bishop’s School is an independent, coeducational college-preparatory day school for students in grades six through twelve who live throughout San Diego County. Founded in 1909, the School is affiliated with the Episcopal church.
