Meet the Team Captain – Boys’ Tennis (Matthew Mu ’19)
In all aspects of his life, Matthew Mu ’19 embodies character, composure and competitiveness, a strong work ethic, dedication and discipline. This makes him the perfect choice to fill the leadership role of team captain. With his team at 7-1 so far, he seems to be getting the job done.
Off the court, he boasts strong skills in the classroom, and is committed to playing tennis at Brown next year. His favorite class at Bishop’s is AP Psychology with Ms. Woods and he has written for Bishop’s Globe Magazine. He is focused on pre-med studies when he gets to Providence. In his spare time, he enjoys skateboarding, playing the guitar, doing improv with a local group once a week, and hanging out with friends.
Matthew’s performance in USTA events outside of Manchester Tennis Center has earned state and national rankings as high as fourth in Southern California and 44th in the U.S. Check out his interview with classmate Cam Ezeir ’19.
