Sixty-three Bishop’s student-athletes were named to the fall San Diego All-Academic Team, the San Diego Union-Tribune (UT) announced today. This distinction is made for juniors and seniors who participated in a CIF varsity sport and brought home at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
The 63 honorees, out of 5,167 total honorees, is the most for the School in the last several years. The average number of student-athletes recognized from each school was 40-43 honorees.

Boys' Cross Country - Ben Chen '20, Sebastian Hayden, 4.81
Girls' Cross Country - Christie Linnard '20, 3.88
Field Hockey - Marley Meyer, 4.82
Football - Graham Cartwright, 4.52
Girls' Golf - Rachel Waite, 4.43
Girls' Tennis - Sydney Gray, 4.88
Girls' Volleyball - Caroline Alleyne, 4.35
Boys' Water Polo - Nathan Wu, 4.87
These team leaders were joined by an equally impressive 55 other Knights, continuing the distinguished tradition of Bishop's athletes who combine competition on the field with that in the classroom. The Bishop’s School is an independent, coeducational college-preparatory day school for students in grades six through twelve who live throughout San Diego County. Founded in 1909, the School is affiliated with the Episcopal church.
