Support Bishop's
Annual Giving

Parents Fund & Committee

As part of Annual Giving, the Parents Fund makes a critically important impact on the success of Bishop’s Annual Giving Program with on average 96 percent of Bishop's families participating. Parent donations represent 77 percent of the total dollars raised each fall during the Annual Giving campaign. The School relies on Annual Giving donations to cover the budget shortfall between tuition and the actual cost of a Bishop's education.

Through their children, Bishop's parents experience the remarkable breadth of a Bishop's education. In addition to a strong academic foundation, their children benefit from a wide array of athletic, artistic and extracurricular activities. At the core of the School is the exceptionally talented and caring faculty whose focus is on the education of the "whole child" and encourages each student to strive to be the best they can be.

The strength of its academic program puts the School in the top tier of independent secondary schools nationally. Bishop’s has achieved its excellence with the help of the extraordinary generosity of parents who donate hundreds of volunteer hours and make financial contributions to the Parents Fund. Sustaining excellence in the next century and beyond will be dependent upon continuing and growing this culture of support.

It's not the size of the gift that is most important; it's a willingness to make a donation each year.

Volunteer for the Parents Fund Committee

Parent Fund Committee volunteers are vital to the Annual Giving Program's annual effort to connect with fellow Bishop's families, sharing their common experiences as Bsihop's parents, educating them about philanthropy at Bishop's and asking them to join in supporting the School and participating in the Parents Fund.
