Financial Aid
The Bishop’s School strives to provide access and affordability to all qualified students, regardless of their financial background or financial ability. Our goal is to attract and enroll the best students and financial ability should not compromise the opportunity to receive a Bishop’s education.
Roughly 20 percent of our student body receives financial aid and we recognize that affording Bishop’s requires a significant financial investment by our families. The Bishop’s School must continue to support all students, regardless of their ability to pay, but we cannot do it through tuition alone. We rely heavily on philanthropy to ensure that a Bishop’s education is attainable for all.
Funds for this program come from generous philanthropic gifts made by members of our community, our financial aid endowment funds and our annual gala.
Donations may be made online by credit card, a check mailed to the School, a gift of appreciated securities, or as part of a planned gift that names Bishop’s as a beneficiary with a percentage of the donor’s estate assets designated to the financial aid program.

The BISHOP'S school Gala
The Bishop’s School Gala is a decades-long tradition, bringing together our entire community for a distinct purpose–to raise critical funds for our financial aid program.
The Gala directly supports financial aid at The Bishop’s School, a program that distributes more than $4.9 million each year, including tuition grants and ancillary expenses to 20 percent of our student body.
