Middle School Drama Club is open to any 7th or 8th grade student. In the fall, the club meets once a week on Mondays, culminating in an informal performance. During the winter, club members are encouraged to participate in the Lower Division of the English Speaking Union Shakespeare Recitation Contest. Faculty from the Theatre and English Departments offer students help with selecting monologues and coaching. During the spring, 7th graders are able to audition for a scripted play.
The Middle School Singing Club is open to any middle school student, boy or girl, who likes to sing or who would like to try something new. It is offered first semester only and will meet on Mondays from 3 – 4 in the music room. It does not conflict with the drama club or the sport's program at Bishops. Students will sing a variety of fun songs and work to present a couple of musical selections for the annual December Christmas concert.
Parents and students wanting a more complete instruction in singing should sign up to take the
Select Ensemble class, which meets second semester. For more information on this class

There are two instrumental music clubs for middle school students offered after school. Students who want to learn more about jazz can sign up for the Middle School Jazz Club and those more interested in classical music can join the Instrumental Music Ensemble Club.
The clubs are not in conflict with any middle school sport.
