Eddy Glazener ’12 plays professional lacrosse for the Premiere Lacrosse League’s Redwoods. Eddy played lacrosse all four years at Bishop’s and was captain his junior and senior year. He went on to compete at Notre Dame, where he had a stellar career. As a starting defenseman his junior and senior seasons, he helped lead the Fighting Irish to ACC regular season championships and spots in the NCAA Championship both seasons. In 2020, Eddy was named in the top ten best lacrosse players in the world by ESPN’s Inside Lacrosse. He currently lives in New York and travels to the west coast to compete in the summer. Lucas Buu-hoan ’21 recently interviewed Eddy.
Sera Stotelmyre ’16 has been selected as the winner of Boston College’s Edward H. Finnegan Award, recognizing “the graduating senior who best exemplifies the school’s motto, ‘Ever to Excel.’”
Meredith Hunter ’20 has been interested in computer science for most of her life. As she progressed through a variety of computer science classes during her years at Bishop’s, she ultimately became the sole female in the class. Her experience inspired the documentary she produced for her Girl Scout Gold Award, Pink Collar Project: Women in Computer Science. Learn more and watch the documentary.
Alex Tsai ’17 is a rising senior at Stanford University, majoring in computer science with a minor in ethics and technology. She’s a member of the Cardinal Division I women’s lacrosse team, a senior writer for The Stanford Daily newspaper and a Mayfield Fellow, a nine-month entrepreneurial work-study program. She helped establish an organization linking farms with surplus produce with food banks in need of food for distribution. Bishop’s Alumni Director Sarah Garro interviewed Alex recently to learn more.
