Molly Martinek Creative Writing Contest has begun. Contact Mr. Robert Mulgrew for details. Submissions are due on Mar. 31.

Disneyland Students in grades 6 through 8 are welcomed to attend a student trip to Disneyland on April 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cost for admission and transportation is approximately $105 and will be charged to the student’s account. The Bishop's School ARGENTINA 2010 educational expedition is now open to 9th graders!!!!!

There are only six spots available and we want you to join us!

This will be an amazing trip, not to miss!

You are not required to speak Spanish.  This is a trip full of adventurous excursions in both the region of Buenos Aires and the Iguazu Fall (on the boarder of Brazil).

Spring Break Update

Parents take note: Spring break begins with an 11:20 a.m. dismissal on Wednesday, March 10. 

Buses will leave campus at 12:00 noon and 5:45 p.m. There will NOT be a 3:30 p.m. bus.

Third quarter ends on March 10 and classes will resume on Monday, March 22 at 7:25 a.m.

Students must wear their regular uniforms on Wednesday, March 10.

Shoes for Haiti

The Haiti Shoe Drive took place today. Students donated shoes – pairs and singles – in support of the Haiti relief effort.

Haiti Family Quiz Night Fundraiser

Haiti Family Quiz Night

Enjoy a potluck dinner with other Bishop’s families and compete in a quiz bowl contest.

Each family will bring a dish for the potluck feast. Families will then divide up into teams and take trivia quizzes. The team that answers the most questions correctly in the shortest amount of time wins a dinner certificate to Morton’s Steakhouse.

Registration is $5 per person at the door. All proceeds go to send International Relief Teams to Haiti. Contact Katherine Cheng ’10 or David Moseley for details.

Performing Arts

Singing in the City! 

The Bishop’s Singers will perform in Carnegie Hall at 7:30 p.m. on March 13. Can’t be in NYC?00 No problem, you can see the Singers on the Today show (NBC – KNSD ch 7/39) on Thursday, March 11 between 8:15 – 8:45 a.m. when they will be on air with weather person Al Roker.

Community Service

Walk For Water” a 5k walk will take place on Mar. 21 at Tecolote Shores, Mission Bay. The walk starts at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds from the walk will fund a well project in a small village in Tanzania. Register today!
