Community Service
Each Bishop's student must complete 100 hours during grades nine through twelve. A minimum of 20 hours must be earned each year in grades 9, 10 and 11, and 40 hours must be completed in the senior year. Hours earned in excess of those required may be carried forward to the next year.
Class Rank and Grading System
Due to the highly selective nature of the School, The Bishop's School does not compute class rank. Grades in academic subjects from grades ten through twelve are used in calculating the GPA based on a 4.0 scale. Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and Advanced Honors courses are given one additional point in weight.
